It’s been years since I’ve run a Linux OS on my main computer. Decided to jump back into it today and give Bazzite a try. I mainly stick with Windows for gaming, and the improvements in gaming on Linux is impressive. We shall see how well this goes. I’ve tested a few games so far with no issue.

I’m really happy with the news that ChromeOS and Android are merging. This will greatly improve ChromeOS even further and give us something on Android that Samsung has done for awhile now on their devices: Samsung Dex, which is a great feature that I’ve used and love.

Park Journey has a great set of photos and write up on Disneyland’s refurbishment of the Tiki Room. Always nice to see a classic attraction get some love.

Needed a good laugh tonight, so I turned on the greatest Batman movie ever: The Lego Batman Movie.
It was a good decision. Laughs were had.

I love summer rainstorms. Temperature just went from 95 degrees down to 79 in about a half hour. Very nice.

This post brought back some memories. mIRC is actually the first software I ever purchased as a teenager in the mid 90’s. I don’t remember who introduced me to IRC chatting, but I remember really being into mIRC scripting when I was in high school. I remember scripting a bunch of bots that I used in channels that I would participate in.
The post from the Internet Archive mentioned it was still being worked on. I checked out the mIRC website and sure enough, there have been a few releases in 2025 already. That is surprising to me since I don’t really hear about people hanging out in mIRC chatrooms anymore. Guess it is still a thing for some. That’s pretty awesome.
