  • The upcoming Pixel 10a phone appeals to me for one simple reason: no camera bump. I have been annoyed by camera bumps for some time now, and I see this phone without it, and I kind of want one.

  • Just started watching Star Trek: Lower Decks. This show is surprisingly good.

This is good news. I love seeing more companies accept Linux as the next major step for PC gaming.

  • YOSHI! I think I’m more excited for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie than I was for the Super Mario Brothers Movie.

  • I think the only “myth” in the group of five this article discusses that I’ve actually heard people say in the past is there isn’t a good amount of software for Linux. The rest are things I’ve never heard people say, and I’m referring to people that don’t use Linux.

  • New CD, Who Dis?

I purchased a new CD album recently. I believe it is the first CD I’ve purchased in probably 15 or 16 years. I remember thinking buying tracks on iTunes for 99 cents back in 2004 was the greatest thing ever, and I stopped buying CDs shortly after because I had an iTunes library.

I’ve been slowly switching back to owning physical media again over the past few years. I do worry that someday I won’t have access to the digital content I’ve purchased over the years. I remember listening to a podcast last year and heard the comment that “if you can’t hold it, you don’t truly own it.” Until now, most of the physical media has been focused on movies, but I have been enjoying the music on Ron Killing’s new White Album and decided to buy the CD.

First thing I did when I got it was pulling out an old computer with a disk drive and digitizing the album. It was a bit weird doing so because it made me a little nostalgic. I remember spending time converting CDs when I would buy them back in the last 90s and early 2000s and having my digital stash along with my physical.

The best part is I still have all that music. I’ve kept it on a drive for many years and move it to a new drive when I purchase a new backup. I even have my music backed up online as well. It was kind of fun adding new music to my collection in a long time. Kind of makes me wonder what my next album purchase might me.

In case you are wondering, the CD I purchased was the White Album by Ron Killings. Great Music. I highly recommend checking it out.

  • What am I watching today? Let’s Game It Out playing a mining game where they discover a really amusing exploit.

I always look forward to a Let’s Game It Out video. Josh comes up with some really amusing ways to do things in games and usually finds some way to break them.

  • What I’m watching: Minty Comedic Arts – The E.T. Atari Game Controversy.

My Aunt had this game when I was a kid. I remember playing it and being freaked out about it for some reason. It was a game I would only play if there was someone with me. If I was by myself, I would ignore it and play other Atari games.

  • It would be nice if those in positions of power in the United States of America actually understood the constitution that I’m pretty sure they have to swear they will uphold when they take a Federal position.
