  • Went to the movie theater last night for the first time in almost a year. I was super excited to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. As the usual stuff is playing before the movie, a trailer for a movie called Red One pops up. I haven’t seen anything about this movie, and I didn’t see the trailer come across any of my socials two months ago when the first trailer came out.

    The minute I saw J.K. Simmons doing reps with a barbell counting out 497, 498, 499 … I was sold. Just those few seconds because I love J.K. Simmons and seeing a jacked J.K. Simmons made me want to see whatever the trailer turned out to be. Then I find out J.K. Simmons is playing Santa Clause?! What?! Shut up and take my money!

    Throw in the Rock as an over-the-top head of Security and Chris Evans as a bounty hunter teaming up to rescue a kidnapped Santa Clause, and I knew I would have to see this movie when it comes out. It is just the right amount of wackiness that I know I will love it even if it turns out to be a terrible. I don’t care. I will love it. I already know this.

  • I just got home from watching Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and I loved it! It was the perfect amount of nonsense and silliness. I had a great time.

  • One of my favorite YouTubers, The Tim Traveller just uploaded a pretty funny video featuring the Paris Olympics …. of 1900! You have to check this out if you want a good laugh, so I am sharing.

  • It’s been good to go back through all the original seasons of Futurama. I’m on season five now and got to the Jurassic Bark episode. I almost forgot how sad the episode is at the end. 😭

  • I’m celebrating the new season of Futurama by binge-watching the previous seasons from the beginning. Forgot how much I love this show.

  • My wife and I decided to put season 2 of Star Trek Prodigy on hold. She wanted to rewatch season 1 prior to starting on season 2. I’m not complaining. Season 1 was great. Also, no one tell her I got about 4 episodes into season 2 by myself. 😉

    We just got finished with episode 8 where the crew get split up into different time streams. This one makes my heart break thinking about Rok being alone for such a long time, but it is still awesome to see Rok develop from it.

    Prodigy fascinates me. It’s Star Trek for kids, but I find it just as good if not better than some of the other Star Trek stuff I’ve enjoyed over the years.
