  • Under the Mat

I love silly wrestling stuff, so when Simon Miller started up a new YouTube channel called Under the Mat where he interviews people in the style of Zach Galifianakis’s Between Two Ferns show. It is hilarious, and his banter with other professional wrestlers just cracks me up.

Here is the latest one with Thunder Rosa. Their chemistry together is amazing to watch.

  • Wrestlemania 42

This past weekend was Wrestlemania 42. I would have loved to watch it, but I had to work. I also don’t have the ESPN app with the subscription to watch it because I can’t afford another $29.99/month subscription, so I followed most of the event via Twitter and YouTube watching clips and reading reactions.

The event looks like it had one really bad night and one really good night. I find that fascinating. Sad that I couldn’t watch the whole thing, but it is what it is.

I will say this, I saw a clip of Brock Lesner taking off his gear and looking like he is done. I actually got emotional watching it. If he really is done, I am happy to have been a fan during his run off and on with WWE. Brock was always fun to watch, and he was amazing at what he did.

  • AJ Styles Retires

I’m going to miss AJ Styles. He was my favorite wrestler. I remember watching him on TNA years ago. He was a big reason I have followed TNA for years. I learned about New Japan Pro Wrestling when he went there. Started watching and fell in love with that show. The Bullet Club stuff was amazing work.

I was super excited when he debuted at the Royal Rumble because I never thought I’d see him in a WWE Ring. Watching him compete in WWE these past 10 years were awesome. His entire career has been amazing.

AJ Styles is the reason I am a professional wrestling fan and not just a WWE fan. It’s going to be weird watching professional wrestling without him going forward.

  • Bray Wyatt Returns

The Bray Wyatt return last night at Extreme Rules was epic. I kind of wished WWE had a full clip of what happened on their YouTube page, but I digress. I am super happy to see Bray back in WWE. He is one of my favorite characters.
