I don’t know why, but I always seem to go back to Firefox as my main web browser on my computers. I can’t exactly explain my reasoning for it either other than I guess it is just something that I’m very familiar with and enjoy how it runs on my machines.
I have an M4 Mac Mini and a custom built Windows gaming PC. I was primarily using Chrome or Edge depending on my mood. I started having some locking up issues with both Edge and Chrome on the Windows PC. Firefox doesn’t seem to lock up like those two keep doing, and I’m not even sure why they are locking up while I’m using the machine. They just hang for a bit and then it goes back to normal.
And since I just switched back to Firefox on my Windows machine, I decided to see how Firefox runs on a Mac. I’ve only had installed for a day, but I don’t really see anything amazing going on yet, but I might just stick with it because I prefer the UI of Firefox over Safari. Not that Safari is bad. Just one of those familiarity things for me.
